4 Things that can make your day…

Every part of the day has certain strengths that allow us to be our best. There is an ideal time within a day to do many things. Let these 4 questions guide you in understanding when you can be your best at anything you desire.

1 - What is the best time off the day to READ and digest what you are reading?

2 - What is the best time of the day for you to relax and feel calm?

3 - What is the best time of the day to mediate for 10 minutes?

4 - What is the best time of the day that you do your clearest thinking?

What do you choose?

Life gives you the capacity, the possibility and the opportunity to be, from this you make your experience. You make the attitude.

From the infinite pool of opportunity, capacity and possibility, we make and create the daily stories of our lifetime.

We are not the sole author of life’s events, but we are the caretaker of how we experience and perceive them.

Keep your limits to yourself. Never share a limitations.
God don’t make ugly, we do.

What do you see?

As human beings we’ve only just begun to see. We’ve only just begun to allow the eyes to experience life beyond the fixed, sharp, sensory forms and colours of what we designate as beautiful and valuable. We’ve only just begun to see things in other forms that are not an imitation of ourselves. “We’ve only just begun to see more than our reflection and creations.” We are now starting to see beyond our imagination, hopes and expectations. We have begun to see the stars and beyond our scars. We’ve begun to see that everything is one and connected; that nothing is truly in service to us; that we control nothing yet everything influences us; that we are not the cause of every effect we experience. We are obtaining a deeper insight into our true nature and self in relation to all things. Let’s keep looking.

Beauty is only as beautiful as you are willing to see and feel.

You are here: Document yourself

There is a gift that I feel everyone should have at some point in their lifetime - the gift of being documented. The gift of having a creator (writer, filmmaker, photographer, songwriter etc.) tell a piece of your story. How would a photographer show you you from their perspective? How would a songwriter write about what you make them feel? How would a filmmaker show your unique and complex persona? Imagine a documentary about you, with images and talking heads, telling stories about what you represent and mean to them.

We are more than we often think we are. The opportunity to see ourself from another’s perspective is a gift, especially when the other is a maker, creator and artist. It is so easy to forget that sometimes the most beautiful part of you is found reflected in the special few that see you.

So, until that artist that will document you finds you, write down your thoughts for yourself, take a selfie with and without a smile, listen to the songs that reflect you and talk to your heart. See yourself not in a spotlight, but in your own light. Leave traces of your existence for others to learn from, appreciate and acknowledge that you were here.
